Genesis – 1:5 – God calls the light, Day. And the darkness, Night. Creation has begun and God is naming Day and Night and establishing boundaries for them. 1:8 – God names the firmament, Heaven. Study "Called" - Intention and Definition
The next study that I am working on is going to be on the word, "called". (Strong's H7121) My initial observation is that God calls by identities. He declares and refines all things by the identity that He has set. What does it mean to be “called” in the Bible? How is that word used? He has Called us by our names (Isaiah 43:1). Our identities are fixed in God. What does that mean?
