Deuteronomy –
2:11 – A race of giants that the Moabites called the Emims. Similar to the Anakims. Emim means “terror”. Anakim means “long-necked”.
2:20 – Another race of giants called the Zamzummims, which means “plotters”.
3:9 – Two different names for Mount Hermon. Sirion, which means “breastplate” and Shenir which means “snow mountain”.
3:13 – The land given to the tribe of Manasseh was also called the land of the giants.
3:14 – A son of Manasseh called his section Bashanhavothjair, which means villages of Jair.
4:7 – Moses is preaching to the Israelites and asks, “What nation is so great, that has such a God, as the Lord our God?” God is in everything we call upon Him for.
5:1 – Moses calls Israel to hear statutes and judgements of the Lord. That they would learn, and keep, and do them.
15:2 – The outline of the release of the Jubilee year. It is to be called, “the Lord’s release”.
25:8 – If a man does not want to marry his brother’s wife. The elders will call him to publicly state that.
25:10 – Continuation of above. It is considered that that man will not build his brother’s house and his name will be called in Israel, and he has to give up a shoe. (You see this in the book of Ruth.)
28:10 – When God establishes a people of His own, they are called by His name. And all the people of the earth will know and be afraid.
29:2 – Moses discusses the Covenant that Israel has made with God. He calls them to him.
31:7 – Moses calls to Joshua, to pass on the calling of God. For Joshua will cause them to inherit the land. Our Yeshua leads us to inheritance in the Father.
31:14 – God tells Moses to call Joshua and publicly present him to be given charge.
33:19 – Predictions of Moses – Zebulan and Issachar will call the people to the mountains.
