Psalms –
4:1 – A request that God would hear the prayers and call of His own.
4:3 – God sets apart the godly for Himself. He hears their calls.
14:4 – Workers of iniquity have no knowledge, they consume others, and do not call upon the Lord.
17:6 – I call upon God because He hears me. He inclines His ear to me.
18:3 – I will call upon God, the only one worthy of praise. He shall save me from my enemies.
18:6 – In my distress, I call upon God. He will hear my cries and incline His ear to me.
20:9 – Request for God’s salvation. That He hears our call and brings victory.
31:17 – Lord keep me from shame because I call upon You. Let the wicked feel that shame.
42:7 – Despair calls to despair. It buries me. I will praise my God and pray unto Him. That He would be with me.
49:11 – Those who dwell on the earth believe they will last forever. They call their lands by their own names.
50:1 – The Lord calls the earth to Him. He spoke it into existence. It is His.
50:4 – God calls to the heavens and the earth to judge His people.
50:15 – God tells us to call upon Him in our trouble, that He will deliver us and we will glorify Him.
53:4 – This is a repeat of 14:4. The tense is different. Instead of they are not calling upon God, they have not called upon God.
55:16 – I will call upon the Lord and He will save me.
79:6 – A call for God’s wrath upon the heathen and those that have not called on His name.
