Study "Called" - Jeremiah Pt.2

Jeremiah –

15:16 – The Word of God brings joy and rejoicing to the heart of those that are called by His name.

19:6 – God will change a locations identity to reflect His judgement.

20:3 – Jeremiah declares that God has changed the name of Pashur to Magormissabib (“terror on every side”). This priest put Jeremiah in the stocks for prophesying against the idolatry of Jerusalem.

23:6 – God promises on His own name that Judah will be saved.

25:29 – God will judge all those who defy Him. Starting with His own.

29:12 – God answers those who call upon Him and seek Him above all else.

30:17 – Israel’s choices have led them to rejection from that which they seek, but God will restore them from their destruction.

32:34 – The children of Israel have put abominations in the house of the Lord to defile it.

33:3 – The Lord answers those who call upon Him. And He show His friends what He is going to do.

33:16 – Repeat of 23:6.

34:15 – The people of Israel made a covenant before the Lord and broke it.

35:17 – Because Israel did not hear the Lord when He called, He will bring judgement upon them.

36:4 – Jeremiah called a scribe to write the words that he had into a scroll.

42:8 –  Jeremiah, at the prompting of the Lord, calls the captains and leaders to him. And he gives them the answer of the Lord. If they will humble themselves and submit, God will protect them. But if not, they will face suffering at the hands of their enemies.
