Study "Called" - Isaiah Pt2
Isaiah –
44:5 – Those that are the Lord’s, will call themselves by His name and do His will.
44:7 – The Lord calls and declares. He sets the times in order.
45:3 – God distinguishes Himself as the one who calls by name. That He may be known. This is part of His letter to Cyrus.
45:4 – God reiterates Himself to Cyrus. He calls him by name even though Cyrus hasn’t known the Lord.
46:11 – God is who He says He is. He calls men from far countries to do His will. He does what He says He will do.
47:1 – God’s judgement on Babylon. Their identity will no longer be what they have revealed in.
47:5 – God is again declaring a change of identity on Babylon. Silencing her. And lowering her for her whoredoms.
48:1 – The house of Jacob, which is called Israel, and uses the name of the Lord, but not in truth.
48:2 – They take on the name of the Lord, but do not live as the children of the Most High.
48:8 – There is deafness upon Israel. The Lord knew that they would deal treacherously and would be called transgressor.
48:12 – God seeks repentance from Israel. For they are His called.
48:13 – The Lord speaks of who He is. They are His called, and will be delivered because of who God is, not who they are.
48:15 – The Lord has spoken. He has called and brought and shall make prosperous.
49:1 – Let all peoples know, the Lord has called Israel His own.
50:2 – When God called, who could answer. Only God Himself. He alone has the power to deliver. He alone has the power to redeem.
51:2 – Those that seek the Lord shall find Him. Look unto those who came before.
54:5 – The Lord of hosts, the Maker, The Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, God of the whole earth. God declares His identity.
54:6 – The Lord calls whom He will, not because of them, but because of Him.
55:5 – Those that Israel doesn’t know will be called to them, because of the Lord.
55:6 – Seek the Lord and call upon Him, while you can!
56:7 – God will bring the stranger’s sons, who seek Him, into His house. He will make them joyful and accept their offerings.
58:5 – What is called a fast? Those seeking freedom in the Lord. To be heard by the Lord. To serve the Lord and His people.
58:9 – When we genuinely seek Him, and call to Him, He will hear, and answer.
58:12 – Surrender all that you have to Lord, and serve Him. And He will call you to Him, and set your identity.
