Judges –
4:9 – The time of Deborah, one of the judges of Israel. The Lord delivers Sisera and his army into her hand.
9:53 – A woman threw a millstone at Abimelech’s head to break his skull.
9:54 – She hits him and he asks his servant to kill him so he wasn’t killed by a woman.
11:2 – Gilead’s legitimate sons cast out their brother who was born to a harlot.
13:3 – An angel is heralding the birth of Samson. She was barren. He told her that her son was to take the Nazarite vow
13:6 – She tells her husband about the occurrence.
13:9 – Her husband asks God for conformation and God again send the angel to her.
13:10 – She goes to get her husband.
13:11 – The husband questions the angel, who identifies himself as “I am”. Potential Old Testament appearance of Jesus.
13:13 – The angel warns that she needs to be careful about her habits while carrying her son. Her choices will affect that Nazarite vow.
13:24 – She gives birth to Samson.
14:1 – A woman seen by Samson that he wants. A Philistine woman, whom he was forbidden to marry.
14:2 – Samson requests that his parents arrange the marriage.
14:3 – His father questions his choice and he doubles down. (The woman referenced in these three verses is the Philistine woman.)
14:7 – Samson goes and talks to the Philistine woman after his father tells him, “No”.
14:10 – His father finally goes and asks for this woman’s hand in marriage for Samson. Knowing that Samson just wanted to pick a fight with the Philistines.
16:4 – Samson falls in love with another Philistine woman.
19:26 – The concubine of a Levite. He offered her to rough group of men (Benjamites) to prevent them from having sex with him. (Similar to the story of the angels at Lot’s house. Gen 19) They abused her all night and she manages to get herself to the door of the place he was before collapsing.
19:27 – The man finds her on the step in the morning.
20:4 – The man is telling the story of the abuse.
21:11 – God is calling for the death of every woman that had lain with a man.
