Study "Called" - Isaiah Pt1

Isaiah –

1:13 – Open actions of religion done without a heart for or relationship with God, are iniquity to Him. Including the calling of assemblies.

1:26 – In the end God will restore His people, and they will be called the city of righteousness.

4:1 – These women want the name and the appearance, but not the reality or depth of relationship. No trust.

7:14 – The son of the virgin will be called Immanuel!

8:3 – Isaiah’s wife bears him a son, and God tells Isaiah to name him, Mahershalalhashbaz. Which means, “swift to booty (spoil), speedy to prey”. This was a prophecy of the plundering of Damascus and Samaria by the king o9f Assyria.

9:6 – The names of coming Saviour!!

12:4 – Praise to the Lord!! Because of who He is, I will praise Him and call upon His name!

13:3 – God calls men to His will, to enact His judgement!

21:11 – Predictions upon Edom and Arabia, what does the watchman see! The failing of the glory of men.

22:12 – God calling His people to open and complete repentance.

22:20 – God calls Eliakim to His service. Eliakim was the Head of House for Hezekiah, served God.

31:4 – God calls forth a multitude of shepherds that are not heard or heeded. Then will the Lord come down Himself to fight for Zion.

32:5 – Those that are wicked will no longer be known as wise or bountiful.

34:12 – When the Lord’s vengeance comes, there will be no other rulers or powerful men.

35:8 – A highway for the wayfaring fools. The unclean shall have no place, but the fools will be guided.

40:26 – The Lord created all things. He knows them by name, He is strong in power, and what is of Him does not fail.  

41:2 – The power of establishment, the power that placed Jesus on the throne. The power of the Almighty God calls.

41:4 – The Lord calls the generations from the beginning.

41:9 – The Lord chooses and calls His own.

41:25 – The Lord calls men to His will, to do as He commands. He has called Jesus from the beginning, and the men of the earth will serve the King of kings.

42:6 – The Lord called His people in righteousness; He will keep His own. He gives His own as a covenant to others, that all may know Him.

43:1 – God formed each of us, and calls us by name.

43:7 – God created us for His glory. He forms us and calls us by name.

43:22 – Alas, His own do not call upon Him. They grow weary of Him.
