Esther –
2:14 – The establishment of the fact that a woman that had been presented to the king, could only come back if she was called by name.
3:12 – The scribes of the king were called on the 13th day of the month to write and distribute the edict that Haman had created. It was sealed with the king’s signet and sent.
4:5 – Esther calls for one of her attendants to go to Mordecai and find out what was going on.
4:11 – If anyone comes before the king who has not been called, they will be put to death, if he does not pardon them for their approach. Esther goes before him to seek salvation for her people.
8:9 – The king’s scribes are called again to write the edict of Mordecai. It is copied and spread with the signet of the king.
9:26 – The holiday celebrating this event is called Purim, after Pur. Which is the casting of lots.
