Study "Called" - Daniel

Daniel –

2:2 – Nebuchanezzer called all the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and Chaldeans to interpret his dream. Not only did they need to interpret it, but they needed to tell him what his dream was as well.

8:16 – A voice calls out to Gabriel to make Daniel understand the vision that he saw.

9:18 – Daniel recognizes that the time of the Desolation of Jerusalem was coming to an end and he falls into fervent prayer. In this verse he is speaking of the desolations of the city and asking that God would hear them, not because of the righteousness of the people, but because of the mercy of God.

9:19 – Daniel is crying out to God desperately for the city and the people called by the name of God.

10:1 – Daniel sees a vision and goes into fasting, asking for an answer to it. He gets one. He is called by the name Belteshazzer, but God still calls him Daniel. As do many others.
