1 Kings – 1:9 – One of David’s sons, Adonijah, calls the people to him, to crown him as the next king after David. David is old at this point and not fully aware of what has happened. 1:10 – Adonijah does not call the generals and prophets that are loyal to David to his celebration. 1:19 – Bathsheba is telling King David what is going on with Adonijah.
