Zechariah –

5:7 – A woman that is the personification of wickedness. She will be built a house in Shinar and established there.

Matthew –

5:28 – Sermon on the mount. Adultery is not just the act but choosing to follow the desire.

9:20 – The woman with the issue of blood. Touched the hem of His garment. Mal 4:2 – He will have healing in His wings. (Wings here also refers to the hem or boarder of a garment - H3671)

9:22 – He turns to the woman (above), calls her daughter, and tells her that her faith has made her whole.

13:33 – The parable of the kingdom of heaven and the woman who hides leaven in 3 measures of meal. (Often linked to the meal Abraham provided before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.)

15:22 – A woman of Canaan seeks healing for her daughter.

15:28 – Jesus answers her, that her faith is great and her daughter will be healed “that very hour”. In the interim verses, Jesus tells her that it is not good for the children’s bread to be given to dogs. She responds that dogs get to eat the crumbs that fall from the Master’s table. Generally assumed to refer to Jews and Gentiles, respectively. The promises of God are to the Jews. Only through their denial of Him, are the Gentiles able to be adopted.

22:27 – The Sadducees try to trip up Jesus. He responds to their trap, knowledgably.

26:7 – A woman pours valuable ointment on the head of Jesus.

26:10 – Jesus defends her to the disciples. They protested that it might be sold for money to benefit the poor, but Jesus states that she did well, for He would not always be with them. He declares it to be for His burial.

26:13 – Jesus declares that the woman’s action would be told for a memorial of her to all to whom the Gospel is preached. Above any good that we may do, is the Lord Jesus Christ and His honor.
