Psalms –
48:6 – Talking about a response to the power of God. Fear and pain as a woman in labor.
58:8 – The passing away of evil people, as a pre-mature stillborn.
113:9 – God is a God of the impossible. He gives barren women a home and children. He is great and mighty and glorious!
Proverbs –
2:16 – Discretion and understanding will deliver you from a seductive woman who tries to lead you astray.
5:3 – Caution against a woman of smooth words. A warning of harlotry. Do not succumb to sweet words that sound nice but are destructive.
5:20 – Caution against leaving the woman of your youth and seeking new and exciting woman.
6:24 – Avoid the flattery of woman looking for something from you. Avoid evil women.
6:26 – Men can be destroyed by the efforts of a whorish woman. Adulteress woman will seek the destruction of others.
6:32 – Choosing to commit adultery with a woman, will destroy the soul.
7:5 – Wisdom and understanding will keep you from the sickly sweet flattery of the strange woman.
7:10 – Be careful where you walk, and avoid temptation. The best defense is don’t be there.
9:13 – A foolish woman is clamorous (H1993). Which is defined as creating uproar, causing a stir, to cause a commotion.
11:16 – A gracious (H2580) woman retains honor. Pleasant, precious, full of grace, elegant, charming, accepting.
11:22 – A beautiful woman without discretion (judgement) is a waste of precious gift.
12:4 – A woman of virtue is a crown to her husband, but one that brings shame will destroy him from the inside.
14:1 – A woman of wisdom builds her house, but one of foolishness tears it down herself. Are you building your home? Your husband, your children, your family?
20:16 – This is specifically a reference to a harlot. But the general consensus on context is that it’s referring to the dangers of deceitfulness and making sure you are wise about not destroying yourself by trying to help others.
21:9 – It is better to be poor than to deal with a woman who causes strife in a nice house.
21:19 – It is better to dwell in the middle of nowhere, than with an angry woman who picks fights (H4079).
23:27 – Whores and harlots are dangerous pitfalls.
25:24 – Same as 21:9. Be very careful about the women you surround yourself with and/or the woman you are.
27:13 – Same as 20:16. Be careful about the people you surround yourself with.
27:15 – Repeated dripping and a woman who creates strife (H4079)
30:20 – Adulterous women commit adultery and pretend that they haven’t done anything wrong.
30:23 – This is a list of things that cannot be born. A hateful woman who is married and a handmaid that is an heir to her mistress. That word heir has two contexts. One is what you would think of, to inherit from a relative or to leave your legacy to an heir. The other is to dispossess the prior owner of something.
31:10 – A woman of virtue is more valuable than physical wealth.
31:30 –Fear of the Lord is more valuable than any other benefit a woman could have.
*In the book of Proverbs, the phrase “strange woman” is used a lot. That word strange (Strong’s H2114) is used to speak of enemies or loathsome people. Someone who is estranged or alienated. A harlot or prostitute.
