John –

2:4 – Jesus is speaking to His mother. She has asked Him for a miracle, and He tells her it is not yet His time. She then tells the servants to do what He says.

4:7 – Jesus asks the Samarian woman for a drink.

4:9 – She asks Him why He would ask that of her as she is a Samarian and He is a Jew.

4:11 – Jesus tells her that He can give her living water, and she responds by asking how He could draw water when He has nothing to draw water with.

4:15 – He explains that His water is from the well of everlasting life, and those that drinketh shall never thirst again.

4:17 – Jesus tells her to bring her husband, she responds that she doesn’t have one.

4:19 – He tells her she is correct and that she has had five husbands and is not currently living with any of them. She calls Him a prophet.

4:21 – She tells Him that she doesn’t have access to Jerusalem, which is the appointed place of worship. And He tells her that the Samarians don’t fully know what they worship, but that they will not just be worshiping in Jerusalem. That the hour is coming where the worship of the Father will be in Spirit and truth. For God is a spirit and those that worship Him will worship in Spirit.

4:25 – The woman declares that she knows the Messiah, the Christ, is coming and that He will tell them all things. Jesus responds that He is the Messiah. The Christ.

4:27 – The disciples return and question why Jesus is talking to this Samaritan woman.

4:28 – The woman runs into the city to tell of her encounter with the Messiah.

4:39 – Many Samaritans came to believe in Jesus from the testimony of that woman.

4:42 – More came to hear Him, and told the woman that they believed because of the word of Jesus Himself. That He is the Savior. The Messiah.

8:3 – The Pharisees bring a woman that was caught in adultery before Jesus.

8:4 – They tell Him the story of who she is.

8:9 – In this they are tempting Him that they might accuse Him. He ignores them, bends down and writes on the ground. Stops to tell them, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” Then continues writing. They all become convicted by their conscience, and leave. Until it is just the woman and Jesus.

8:10 – He stands up sees that it is just the two of them and asks the woman where her accusers are. Where are those who condemned her? He then tells her that He does not condemn her, and to go and sin no more.

16:21 – When a woman comes to travail, she sorrows that the hour has come. But once the child is delivered, she forgets the pain and is filled with joy at the birth.

19:26 – On the cross, Jesus places His mothers care in the hands of John the disciple.

20:13 – Mary discovers the Jesus’ body is gone and starts weeping. The two angels ask why she cries. She is weeping because His body is gone and she doesn’t know where he is.

20:15 – She turns from the tomb and sees Jesus, not recognizing Him. He asks her why she cries, and who she’s looking for, and she asks where the body of her Lord is.
