2 Kings –

4:1 – A woman comes to Elisha in tears. She’s poor, her husband is dead, and her sons are going to be taken if she can’t pay off her creditor. Elisha has her take the pot of oil that she had and poor it into every vessel she could get her hands on. She was able to sell the oil and pay the debt. AND THEN her and her sons lived off the rest. God took what little she had and her faith and provided above and beyond.

4:8 – A woman feeds Elisha, and talks to her husband about providing a place for him to sleep when he’s traveling. Elisha asks his servant what can be done for her and his servant answers that she has not had a child.

4:17 – The above woman conceives and bears a son.

6:26 –  A siege situation. A woman asks the king to give up his son to eat. He does.

6:28 – He asks her to give up her son, and she hides him.

6:30 – The king grieves at her response.

8:1 – The woman above, who conceived, her son died. She goes to Elisha and Elisha prays unto the Lord and the child lives. (4:18-37) This woman and her family are told to leave the land to escape famine by Elisha.

8:2 – They do so.

8:3 – The woman comes back and petitions the king for her families land back.

8:5 – The king learns what happened with Elisha.

8:6 – He then restores everything back to her. Not only her lands, but the fruits of the land that she had missed out on while gone.

9:34 – Jehu calls for the death of Jezebel and she is brutally killed. He still commands that she be buried as she is the daughter of a king.
