Job – 1:4 – Job’s sons called his daughters to join them in a feast. 5:1 – Job’s friend Eliphaz, is explaining that suffering comes as a chastening by God. He tells Job to call out to see if any will answer him. He proceeds to ask Job which saint he will turn too. 9:16 – Job is speaking, saying he would not believe that God heard him, even if He answered him. Job is struggling with why he is suffering, he does not see the reason for it. Yet he still asks God for an answer. 12

Esther – 4:11 – Explanation of the law that says any who approach the king without approval will be put to death. Rules and consequences applied to men and women equally. Job – 14:1 – Discussion of the fleeting nature of life. Man is born of woman. 15:14 – Another reference to man being born of woman. Remember that God gave different roles to men and woman, but all are responsible before God. 25:4 - Third reference in this book that man is born of woman. 31:9 – Job is going o
